3. Can I put an option on my ticket and pay later?

By making an appointment for a payment at the office (cash or check), we block a ticket for you until you come by the office within a reasonable time (1-7 days). Caution, the week prior to the trip you wish to participate in, a ticket may be blocked at best 24-48h (at the beginning of the week), subject to availability.

4. Can I pay my ticket on the day of departure?

Yes, you can pay your ticket on the day of departure, but be careful we cannot block a ticket without payment. Caution: the price on the day of departure is 20€ to 50€ more expensive than the promo or normal price (please refer to the detailed description of the trip you wish to participate in).

Kindly note that since our trips get more and more often fully booked a few days prior to departure, we recommend that you to book your ticket in advance. Otherwise, you can only pay a ticket and board the bus if there is still availability the day of departure.

5. What documents will I receive after my reservation?

If you book on the online ticketing service: a confirmation email with your ticket will be immediately sent after the transaction.

If you book at the office: a receipt that is valid as a ticket will be delivered to you immediately after your payment.

6. Who can register? Age-range of the participants? Type of audience? Atmosphere?

★★★ TRIP open to all, all ages, all nationalities ★★★

Our trips are open to all ages. Each trip is different, the age range is generally from 20 to 60 years, with a majority between 20-35 years old. If you are older you can still join, as long as you want to make new discoveries, meet new people and consider yourself fit enough to wander in the visited cities.

Do not hesitate to come ALONE! You can be sure to meet new people in the group! Because all our trips' aims are to help you MEET NEW PEOPLE and MAKE NEW DISCOVERIES ツ

Generally, half of our participants come on their own and are as open-minded as you

Our tourleaders will help facilitate create a group spirit and a friendly atmosphere with your enthusiastic help of course ツ

7. How many participants join the trips? If there are not enough participants, do you cancel the trip?

Our trips are mainly organized for 50-60 participants.

We will still maintain our trips even in financial loss. For instance, if 50 people were initially planned for a trip but only 15 actual participants were to join, we would still maintain the trip. This has never happened until now. Our trips gather at least 30-40 participants and we organize 120 successful trips every year.

8. Do you accept minors? Children and infants? Do you offer child rates?

Minors are accepted in our trips only if they are accompanied by an adult legally responsible.

Infants and children (under 10 years old) are accepted, however due to logistic matters, comfort of the other participants, safety and wellness of children, they are accepted only during single-day trips or 2-day weekends.

As the distances and travel time are longer during 3-day-long trips, very likely it will cause irritation, shouting, crying etc. which would disturb the other travelers and cause dissatisfaction. Consequently, infants and children are welcome only in 1-2 day long trips.

Since our prices are already as low as possible, the price is the same for everyone, regardless of the age of the occupant of the seat.

Exceptionally, during single-day trips, the child ticket (only for children up to 3 years old) may be free of charge but only if the child is sitting on the lap of one of the parents / legally responsible adult. If you prefer that your child occupies a seat for comfort matters, the adult rate will be applied. The member card is offered to children up to 14 years old.

9. Do you offer preferential rates for groups?

  • If you are a group of 10 or more, discounts may be offered. The amount will depend on the type of trip (1-day excursion or weekend), current promotions and availability. Please do not hesitate to call us (📲 07 68 51 41 08) and/or send an email (✉ [email protected]) to know the preferential rate you could benefit from.

  • If you are a group of 40 or more, we can arrange a tailor-made trip for your group. For a quote, please do not hesitate to call us (📲 07 68 51 41 08) and/or send an email ([email protected]) to discuss your project (dates, destination, number of nights, accommodation preferences, type of transport, specific requests ...)

3. COVID-19 sanitary rules (wearing a mask, social distanciation, hydroalcoholic gel...)

To participate in our excursions and weekends, WEARING a MASK is MANDATORY (masks are not supplied by WeDiscover). Anyone not wearing a mask will be refused boarding the coach (no postponement of participation, credit or refund will be granted). Anyone who consciously or by careless negligence exposes other participants to a risk of contamination during the bus transfers or visits will be immediately excluded from the trip. The offender will have to return to Paris on his own, at his own expense.

Carriers guarantee ENHANCED CLEANING of the coach BEFORE and AFTER each trip.
In order to limit the spread of covid-19 in general and to facilitate the regular reinforced cleaning of the coach carried out before and after your trip, for your health safety but also that of future participants, it is FORBIDDEN to leave GARBAGE in the coach. Before each descent, verifications will be made and financial penalties will be immediately applied to disrespectful offenders (ranging from € 100 to € 150 depending on the bus company).

It is recommended that each participant bring HYDROALCOHOLIC GEL for regular disinfection of your hands. (An emergency quantity will be made available, at our expense, for each trip.)

• A SOCIAL DISTANCIATION will be implemented :

- People traveling alone will have a inoccupied seat to their right or left (🔵 SOLO TRAVELER 🔵 tickets).

[Update on 03/06 : for information: social distancing in private transport is no longer mandatory as per the governmental decision of 31/05, however as announced for the past weeks, we will apply it for your safety in our trips throughout the month of June. (Kindly note that at this stage the social distancing is mainly at our expense). From July, social distance will be optional in all our trips. And from August, social distancing will be optional during the day trips.]

To understand and distinguish the different types of tickets available depending on the period:

IN JUNE :

🔵 SOLO TRAVELER 🔵 (1 unoccupied seat next to you)
🔴🔴 DUO TRAVELERS 🔴🔴 (2 seats side by side, 1 unoccupied seat in front and behind you)

IN JULY :

✅ STANDARD TRAVELER ✅ (1 seat, no social distancing)
🔵 SOLO TRAVELER 🔵 (1 unoccupied seat next to you)
🔴🔴 DUO TRAVELERS 🔴🔴 (2 seats side by side, 1 unoccupied seat in front and behind you)

IN AUGUST :

- For 2-days weekends or more :

✅ STANDARD TRAVELER ✅ (1 seat, no social distancing)

We count on your understanding and immediate and rapid cooperation, so that all participants can settle in quickly and allow coach departures at the scheduled times. Any seating inconvenience causing delays in the departure of the coach will imply a reduction in visiting times (or if it is the last journey of the day: a delay in arrival in Paris).

4. Transportation: can I choose my seat on the bus? Can I sit near my friend?

The seats in the bus are unassigned, so you are free to sit wherever you want and next to the person of your choice, depending on the category of your ticket (STANDARD, SOLO or DUO).

5. Baggage: How much luggage can I take?

You can put 1 luggage in the hold (= baggage compartment) and bring 1 hand luggage.

6. Can I eat / drink on the bus?

To avoid crumbs, rubbish, spilling liquids, dirt and smells in the bus, carriers forbid eating and drinking on the bus.

During single-day trips, distances are usually short, so you can have lunch / snack when you arrive at your destination.

During weekends, breaks are planned.

7. Will the bus make stops/breaks?

The number of breaks depends on the travel time as well as the legal requirements in regards to the driving time + obligatory rest of the driver.

During single-day trips, the distances are usually short so breaks are not planned.

During weekends, the distances are usually longer so stops/breaks will be made; at best every 2h-3h.

8. What is the role of the tourleaders?

The tourleaders’ missions are to:

  • Check the tickets and membership cards of each participant before the boarding of the bus.
  • Announce the bus schedules throughout the trip.

A tourleader is not a guide, so you should not expect this type of service. However our team of heterogeneous tourleaders is composed of animators, history enthusiasts, photographers, translators / interpreters, future international tourism professionals with good experiences as travelers etc. The tourleaders will do their best to ensure that the trip is in good spirits and that you enjoy the trip from start to finish.

9. Do I need to stay with the group all day / all weekend? Can I visit the places on my own ?

You may visit the places on your own as long as the bus schedules are respected. The schedules are announced by the tourleaders before each bus stop at a new location.

Please note that in case of a delay greater than 15 minutes, the carrier is obliged to respect its schedule and therefore to leave without you if you are not sitting on the bus on time. We therefore recommend that you be punctual.

10. Are meals included? Are lunches / dinners organized?

Meals are not included. Only breakfast is sometimes included in our trips (please refer to the detailed description of the trip you wish to participate in).

During the day trips:

  • Lunch is rarely organized due to the lack of time to do so, usually the tourleaders and participants bring a sandwich / salad / picnic. The group can decide to have lunch together on a beach, on a lawn, in a beautiful square… (depending on the visited destinations during the excursion you are participating in) while sharing a cheerful moment.
  • As long as you respect the bus schedule, you are free to have lunch in a local restaurant, with other participants if they wish to

During the weekends:

  • The tourleaders will do their best to suggest restaurant ideas in order to organize a dinner with the majority of the group. You are welcome to join the group dinner or to have dinner on your own. From past experience, we know that many have their own food preferences, different budgets, etc. so often small groups form themselves to have dinner together.

11. Accommodation: Can I choose whom to share the room with?

The distribution of rooms is flexible. The rooming list is filled with the tourleaders at the end of the first day of travel, once the participants have got time to meet a little first. The rooms can be unisex or mixed. If you have no preference, rooms are primarily shared between people of the same sex (with the exception of one room maximum, depending on the number of people without preference remaining at the end of the room allocation).

12. If I get lost, who can I contact?

If you were wandering on your own and cannot find the group again, don’t hesitate to contact one of the tourleaders of the trip. Their numbers are indicated in the email sent the day before departure and they are usually also announced to you in the bus.

(Our office being open from Monday to Friday from 11am to 7pm, kindly note that emails and calls to the office issued on weekends will only be processed after the weekend, when the team will be back in the office on Monday.)

13. Lost item, what to do?

If you lost an object:
